We are located in the beautiful Huron Shores tourist corridor on the Trans Canada Highway 17, Algoma District, between Sudbury and Sault Ste Marie and 3 minutes west of Iron Bridge, Ontario.

Our Campground
The Yellow Butterfly Trading Post and Campground is proud to offer everything from tenting sites to 30 amp RV sites, all designed for your comfort, safety and convenience.
Our amenities include:
- restrooms and showers
- community common area
- fire pits (fire wood is available for a nominal charge)
- seasonal sites
- a spacious fully furnished B&B
Looking for an outdoor venue for your next event? We can accomodate large groups, associations and other outdoor events (weddings, family reunions, etc.).
We are a Pet Friendly campground. Clean-up bags are available in the store at no charge.

We were travelling very late in the season, around Halloween, and the owners very nicely accommodated us for one night. They even met us at the gate as we arrived after hours. ”Nice spot to stop for the night. Clean bathrooms and showers. Nice store and snack shop. As long as you are okay with a bit of road noise (we turned our fan on) it's quiet. Gate locked at 8:00 to avoid unwanted headlights while relaxing for the evening. 5/5 would stay again if in the area. Thanks for the free firewood!

About Us
Owners , Victoria and Ken , acquired the property in 2012 and began an extensive redevelopment of this Diamond in the Rough. Today they host a trading post, campground and a take out snack bar for your convenience.
